Originated in Guatemala, imported into the U.S. by F.W. Popenoe in 1927, in Florida in 1937. Seed tight in cavity. Skin is thin to medium in thickness, not pebbly, but can be hard and shell like. Season June through October. Tree is strongly alternate bearing. Typical Guatemalan.
